Amazon Studios is the movies and television development and production arm of Amazon. Amazon Studios in Europe is looking for an Unscripted Development Executive for our Originals team in Spain. In this position you will work with the team overseeing the sourcing, development and execution of Original Unscripted Spanish productions, reporting to the Head of Spanish Originals and to the ES Unscripted Originals Leader. This position will be based in Madrid.

You will be joining a dynamic, creative and fast paced team, where you will support specific projects in development and production as well as managing a high volume of submissions and meetings. Using your developed interpersonal skills you will foster and grow industry relationships. You will be using your experience in development and as a director, executive producer or commissioner to ensure team success.

Role responsibilities include:
o Overseeing the development and production of their assigned projects from inception to launch, interacting with key stakeholders internally and externally during this process.
o Key point of contact and support for producers of their assigned projects.
o Providing feedback to the Originals Team on submissions and new pitches.
o To attend weekly business, development and production meetings as required.
o Oversee their assigned productions for premium quality and bar raising contents.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Extensive experience in creative development and/or as a director, executive producer or commissioner.
• In-depth knowledge of the Spanish and International Unscripted TV industry.
• Proven experience on successful formats and docuseries at an executive level.
• Fluent in Spanish and English

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Broad network of creators, including producers, production companies, writers and talent
• Familiarity with SVOD or OTT video services
• Experience in managing complex projects at all levels (selection, development, production and postproduction).
