We are hiring a Senior Studio Investments Manager to be part of the Studio Strategy & Operations group. The team is responsible for developing strategy, tools, and processes to scale operations globally for the teams that create and produce Prime Video's Originals. In addition to defining the long-term strategic roadmap for our operations, our Strategy team leads the implementation of key strategic initiatives.
As part of this team, you will be a single threaded owner overseeing critical operational investments and programs in our production hubs, with particular emphasis on working with public policy teams to ensure we are meeting workforce development and training goals as a Studio. We are looking for someone with program and business development experience to strategically deploy investment to meet operating priorities and policy imperatives. As a budget owner, you will own investment recommendations and maintain a view of broad, macroeconomic industry trends to inform these recommendations. We seek a data-driven, action-oriented individual to work closely with cross-functional stakeholders across creative, operational and public policy teams to:
• Develop and update forecasting models to reflect latest Studio operational footprint and growth
• Conduct research around industry activity to understand supply/demand trends across the supply chain
• Analyze Studio content investment trends to assess highest priority operating needs
• Set the strategic vision and roadmap for workforce development investment, including how to deliver value to our productions
• Build relationships and partnerships with external partners and business leaders in order to deploy budget
• Develop business plans, success criteria, metrics/KPIs around proposed spend and investments
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree, ideally in film, production, business, or related fields
• 7+ years in strategy, program management, and/or business development at a top-tier media/entertainment/tech company
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize complex issues, manage communications, and influence change at all levels of the organization
• Knowledge of creative, physical production, post production processes
• Demonstrated success in achieving short, medium and long-term goals
• Demonstrated bias for action and attention to detail with strengths in problem solving, issue-resolution, and the ability to work in a deadline driven work environment
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience owning an operating budget
• Experience scaling a global program
• Masters in Business Administration degree
• Prior experience at an investment bank, private equity, management consulting, and/or an internal strategy team

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $93,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
