Job Description

Amazon Studios is a premium audio-visual content development and production company. We are looking for an experienced Production Executive (who will be based in Hyderabad) to work on Telugu language Original series (scripted and unscripted) that will be produced in India.

The candidate should have production management skills, be able to prepare and read budgets and schedules, be aligned with the studio production goals, be fluent in Telugu (written and spoken), should have production experience in the Telugu film/TV market, should have good relationships with Producers/Executive Producers/Line Producers in the local market and have a good understanding of the local industry, and should have on-set experience with problem solving skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Works along with other team members on projects in development and production
• Meets with line/executive producers and show production managers, as well as creative executives for negotiating development and production budgets
• Is on-set when necessary to evaluate work-flow, budgets and potential problems
• Analyzes cost reports and budget
• Prepare/compile and store production documents (e.g., calendars, reports and schedules) on the studio network
• Facilitate communication with the show production companies and studio departments (e.g., casting, business affairs, legal, finance, p.r./marketing, etc.)
• Track and process approvals and payments including POs, overages and ATL (e.g., development, package fees, etc.) in the studio system tool
• Maintain a checklist for each show to ensure major milestones are met (e.g., budget lock, budget approval, kick-off calls, deliverables, international filming activity, etc.)
• Assist and facilitate general requests and communication to ensure shows are following studio guidelines and procedures
• Work closely with the India Originals team and the Amazon Studios team in the US
• Any other tasks that a Production Executive may be required to carry out within the overall production and larger business objectives of the studio

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 10+ years Production experience
• 3+ years of experience as a Line Producer/Executive Producer in the Telugu film/TV industry
• Fluent in Telugu (written and spoken)
• Experience working with large teams
