Prime Video is looking for an experienced insights leader passionate about brand marketing to lead our Global Brand Insights program. The Head of Global PV Brand Insights will be an essential leader within Prime Video with a high degree of visibility into and influence on future brand marketing strategy. In this role, you will partner closely with PV and Amazon Corporate leadership to continually grow customer love for the PV brand by delivering high quality brand insights. You enjoy high level team planning such as roadmap creation, vision setting, and career development but are also excited to roll up your sleeves and lead or advise on projects as needed.
As the Head of Global Brand PV Brand Insights, you will spearhead high impact brand strategy research projects and develop and scale a best-in-class global brand research program. You will frequently author high level research, insights, and strategy documents that clearly and persuasively distill complex data points into actionable insights for the Prime Video team to support brand growth. You will also train and develop a small group of brand insights researchers to support ongoing and ad hoc brand research requests. You will bring prior experience developing strategic research plans, managing brand trackers/surveys, growing brands, and scaling a consumer insights function globally. This role requires a commitment to goals, proactive examination, and a relentless focus on the customer.
Key job responsibilities
- Create the vision and oversee the implementation of a high-quality brand insights program for Prime Video
- Forge strong relationships with teams across the global business including Marketing, Brand Creative, Brand Governance, Paid Media, Measurement, and Strategy to ensure brand insights are incorporated into key workstreams
- Own research roadmap planning for Prime Video Brand Insights, oversee project assignments across the team, and budget management
- Hire and develop a team of talented brand insights professionals
- Represent the customer voice across the organization by leading and contributing to meetings with US & Global Prime Video leadership
- Collaborate closely with the broader PV Insights team, as well as other insights and analytics teams across Amazon to ensure a holistic understanding of the PV brand in connection to the Amazon and Prime brands
- Identify scalable solutions to ensure consistent insights on PV brand health and campaigns contextualized with insights on broader industry trends
- Serve as a thought leader by drawing from your deep understanding of the entertainment industry and brand marketing
- Author business-driving documents that surface key learnings and provide recommendations for our go-forward brand marketing strategy
About the team
The Head of Global PV Brand Insights reports into the Head of Prime Video Cross Channel Insights. The Global PV Cross Channel Insights team empowers PV with insights to create a delightful brand and experience for our customers across all marketing channels.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
- 5+ years of team management experience
- Demonstrated expertise within and passion for brand marketing and strategy
- Excellent written and oral communication and proven experience presenting research findings to C-Suite stakeholders
- Strong familiarity with brand insights and measurement frameworks such as brand tracking, brand lift studies, structural equation models, and marketing asset testing
- Ability to roll up sleeves and coalesce multiple data sources to craft holistic research narratives as needed, pulling in data from both 1P and 3P datasets
- Understanding of existing consumer and marketing insights offerings from US and global vendors and agencies
- Demonstrated ability to operate with significant autonomy
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working cross-functionally and driving decision making among stakeholders with competing goals
- Experience with various types of research methodologies is key, including quant, qual, 1P & 3P data, trend analysis & forecasting, etc.
- MBA or graduate degree in marketing, communication, data analytics, psychology, or similar field
- Experience working with data engineers and business intelligence engineers to understand existing 1P data sources and how they can enrich primary research
- Past experience working in a highly-matrixed, global company and building effective partnerships
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $119,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
