This role may be based in Culver City, Atlanta, or Brooklyn or there is a possibility of being
remote within the United States.

Key job responsibilities
• Write, test and iterate on UI copy across a variety of touch points and aspects of the fan experience, including voice interactions
• Anticipate customer needs and write innovative and simplified solutions
• Use UX best practices, brand guidelines, research and data to establish and evolve scalable copy systems that drive consistency
• Lead and drive the adoption of UX writing tools and frameworks based on our tone of voice and learnings from testing
• Present and lead conversations about projects, issues, solutions, and product strategy to leadership and stakeholders
• Contribute to the professional development of colleagues across the Product and UX teams, improving their UX writing skills, knowledge, and best practices

A day in the life
Everyone on our team has a meaningful impact on how we engage and build relationships with fans and artists and how we show up in music culture. As the Sr. UX Copy Strategist, you will work cross-functionally with a talented team of product designers, product managers, marketing managers, and engineers to help shape the overall fan experience through simple and customer-friendly solutions across numerous platforms and touch points. You will help us create scalable messaging systems that drive clarity for our customers and consistency in tone of voice. Your rock-solid presentation skills and enthusiasm will sell ideas through the lens of strategy and creativity while you use data and customer insights to drive the best results and continually improve the fan experience.

About the team
The Global Brand Voice and Strategy team, embedded within the Global Brand Team, is focused on how Amazon Music comes to life through bar-raising messaging grounded in strategic thinking ensuring our brand personality and tone of voice is expressed across a wide range of channels and platforms. Joining the team at this time is an opportunity to have a high degree of ownership over how we form relationships with fans, and how we show up and become known in music culture. We collaborate regularly with Brand Design and the Creative Studio as well as cross-channel creatives and business stakeholders with the primary objective of setting the standard for expression of the Amazon Music brand.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 8+ years of experience as a UX Writer or similar role in an agency or in-house setting writing product copy for digital products spanning multiple platforms, use cases and geographies
• A web-based portfolio of relevant work samples with a UX focus; including problems you helped solve for, your contributions, and impact to the customer
• Experience creating copy systems, guides and frameworks
• Experience owning, developing and evangelizing copy guidelines and tone of voice
• Experience owning and implementing programs related to online content strategy, content delivery tools, content taxonomy and classification, and/or the user experience with content

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience working with remote teams and an international audience
• Experience writing for voice interactions and voice assistants

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $113,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
