Key job responsibilities
Your key job responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
• Leading as the primary Executive-in-Charge for the Culver City Studio, liaising with artists, labels and matrixed Amazon Music teams, you will operate across the universe of Culver City's Amazon Music campus and all external touch points
• Leading a team of multi-skilled, diverse operations and production professionals, and being the ''buck stops with me'' Executive for all aspects of studio production (video, audio, photo) associated with a state-of-the-art facility
• Liaising constantly with the Artist/Creator Relations teams to ensure a best-in-class and seamless studio experience for all guests and teams, including VVIPS, label and creator community professionals.
• Ensuring the experience is enjoyable, easy and something they will excitedly rave about to their friends
• Developing and delivering on annual goals
• Communicating and driving strategic initiatives, all to be reported in annual reporting excercises
• Developing, refining and overseeing the day to day scheduling and scheduling-process of the entire facility, ensuring there are no conflicts, communicating and maintaining all standard operating procedures clearly
• Developing, maintaining and updating SOP/Playbooks for studio operations, inclusive of all spaces (listening lounges, screening room), photo studio, AV equipment and software management. Ensuring all workflows can scale across new and existing sites, globally
• Develop/own RACI across Culver City functions and spaces (usage and ownership)
• Ensuring the facility is in consistent pristine condition and all rooms are open daily and ready to accommodate teams and visitors
• Maintaining the facility and nurturing the team within budget parameters and reporting all budget and allocations spend to leadership regularly
• Training new hires on all aspects of facility operations, departmental processes and visitor procedures.
• Collaborating with managers of new and existing sites to elevate artist studio experience, globally.
• Managing and maintaining required forecasting and planning documents: trackers and planning spreadsheets, for inspection as any point

A day in the life
As a senior member of the team, you have a meaningful impact on how we engage and build relationships with fans, artists and creators; and on how we show up in music culture. As the Sr Studio Manager, you have significant expertise and use high judgment to effectively work with internal and external stakeholders and across all Amazon music units: Editorial, Amp, DJ Mode, and Wondery, to bring our exciting vision to life. This important management, production and operations role will oversee and manage all aspects of planning and execution of a newly launched physical Studio, including multiple audio and video capture rooms, in Culver City. The Studio Manager is able to distill a wide range of inputs from all stakeholders and set a plan to run the studio seamlessly. Reporting to the Head of Editorial Programming, your ability to develop a strategy, run operations and achieve consensus amongst many voices is paramount. You will be responsible for ensuring that the resources are in place to meet the needs of internal and external partners. As a recognized studio and industry leader, you are known for your relationships with labels, artists, and the wider creative community. You are technically proficient in both video and audio content capture and you are adept with a variety of industry-wide scheduling, and operations tools. You are able to work with ambiguity, analyze problems, communicate solutions and drive strategic initiatives. Working with VVIP's (yes, very, very important people) comes easy to you and your attention to detail is second to none. You love building systems, removing bottlenecks, identifying and codifying best practices, and are able to condense your plans into formal reports. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum of 10+ years in Studio Production Management, in a multi-media (video, audio, photo) facility
• Proven track record of successfully working VVIP's, Content Executives and internal, matrixed content creation teams
• Deep knowledge of building and running technical and creative teams, across a studio organization
• Demonstrable experience in developing process and implementing scheduling across a 5+ room, studios facility, 24 hours/day, 7 days/week
• Willingness to work on a flexible schedule that includes days, nights and weekends
• Ability to adapt and thrive in constantly changing environments, filled with unpredictable challenges and interaction with all personality types
• Enthusiasm for managing hands-on projects and the resourcefulness to make things happen
• Proven and exceptional ability to problem solve, multi-task, adapt to fast-paced environment and manage several productions start-to-finish
• Excellent communication, reporting and interpersonal skills; organized, proactive, and quick-thinking
