We are looking for a creative, analytical and results-oriented Sr. Product Marketing Manager to drive engagement and retention across Amazon Music, included with Prime and our ad-supported Free tier. You will help build and launch new product marketing initiatives supporting both Amazon Music tiers, working cross-functionally across Amazon teams, influencing and leading partners to think big, invent and simplify, and deliver on project roadmaps.

A successful candidate for this role will be an independent, creative problem-solver with great business acumen, and the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously while managing competing deadlines. You will have strong product marketing, program management and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work independently under time constraints to deliver results.

This individual will partner with teams across Amazon Music to drive engagement strategies to increase Prime and Free tier adoption, engagement, and retention. This role will lead the Product Marketing Engagement strategy, reporting to senior leadership on progress and upcoming projects, and champion best practices across global teams. You should be well versed in customer behavior, business drivers, and conceive new initiatives to improve KPIs.

Key job responsibilities
• Ideate, manage, and execute marketing strategy to drive Onboarding, Engagement and Retention of our Amazon Music Prime and Free tiers, globally.
• Lead complex, cross-functional product marketing go-to-market initiatives for product features.
• Partner closely with product teams to influence product roadmap and features that drive early-use and engagement.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to inform product messaging and positioning to drive engagement and retention, sharing insights and next steps with leadership.
• Identify and pursue cross-category opportunities, partnering with teams across Amazon
• Play a lead role in identifying ROI and metrics for new Marketing strategies, partnering with BI, Product and Finance orgs to identify trade-offs and recommendations.
• Leverage new or emerging trends to identify new customer audiences to drive adoption and engagement of our Free and Prime tier.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
- BA/BS, MBA or equivalent work experience 6+ years of product marketing and digital marketing experience, developing and driving high-performing marketing campaigns across large cross-functional teams
- Experience driving global marketing programs
- Understanding of customer lifecycle marketing, including customer lifetime value, early life habit formation, retention, and churn
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; comfortable presenting across all levels of the organization including to senior leadership
- Proven experience in digital marketing or product management
- Ability to earn trust with colleagues, foster collaboration, and influence without authority to drive projects to completion Resourceful problem solver who is comfortable operating in an ambiguous space
- Ability to balance strategic and operational responsibilities; deliver on day-to-day needs while shaping the larger strategy Effective leadership and communication skills to drive recommendations, articulate tradeoffs, and communicate plans to senior executives

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis
- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
- MBA/advanced degree
- Effective understanding of digital products and the entertainment industry
- 8+ years with digital media (video, music, games, software) and/or consumer subscription products
- 3+ years of mobile experience with consumer technology product or service • Experience managing across global teams and KPIs
- Effective analytical and quantitative skills; ability to think critically and use data to derive insights and inform marketing plans

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
