We are seeking a skilled Sr. Product Manager - Tech to join our Cross-Channel Marketing Personalization team and help drive the strategy and vision of modern customer engagement. Our team works on enabling our customer relationship and lifecycle marketing via the development of the tools, infrastructure, and data integrations required to manage high-scale, personalized customer interactions with Amazon's leading digital music products. This includes experiences on our apps, on broader Amazon surfaces, and integrations with other partners. We heavily influence the way we can communicate with customers through e-mail, in-app messages, push notifications, and Echo messages, as well as build cross-channel capabilities to automate customer communications with the right message at the right time in the right channel.

Key job responsibilities
In this role you will determine the strategy and vision for channels and partnerships enabling paid media marketing and affiliates / influencers. You will help a team of engineers execute, build relationship with marketers and other Amazon teams as broaden your scope to other channels and personalization capabilities. This role will also offer opportunities to influence AI and core product capabilities.

We are looking for a seasoned product manager who is passionate about music, capable of operating in an ambiguous and complex space with high judgement, and effective at making data-driven decisions while driving impactful projects. An ideal candidate understands marketing technologies, loves to Dive Deep into technical and non-technical areas to lead the team's direction, has strong customer obsession, and has a track record of delivering results, understands A/B testing, attribution model, and cross-organizational high impact projects.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Master's degree
- Analytical and quantitative skills; bias towards data-based decision making
- Business and technical experience building and scaling marketing tools and/or platforms.
- Relentless bias for action. One of your favorite things to do as a product manager to launch, learn and iterate. You know what matters most to customers and can simplify product requirements to deliver benefits to customers as quickly as possible.
- Proficient communication skills, particularly written skills. You are as comfortable speaking in front of the company at an all-hands meeting as you are writing a detailed six-page narrative on your products that you can defend with the highest levels of senior leadership.
- Proven ability to make smart features (customer experience) versus time-to-market trade-offs. You have experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions and assertions of business value.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
