Job summary

Amazon Music is looking for an experienced, creative, bold-thinking, and strategic Senior Manager to help grow the newly developed Music Partnerships team. Amazon Music's Music Partnerships Senior Manager will lead department strategy across community and culture ambassador programs and manage music partnerships across tentpole music moments, including facilitating partnerships across other Amazon Entertainment teams. This team is responsible for identifying and amplifying key internal campaigns for Amazon Music, influencing and collaborating with teams to amplify partnerships, thinking big, and delivering global results. By partnering across multiple business teams, the Music Partnerships team will amplify Amazon Music's influence with key audience segments globally - including developing and managing a culture ambassador program for the brand. A successful candidate for this role will be an independent, forward-thinking culture mover with great business acumen, and the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.

As Sr Manager, Music Partnerships and Community you will:
• Lead the strategy and planning for the Music Partnerships team
• Develop the Cultural Ambassador program and utilize deep relationships in the community to refresh and update the strategy
• Work cross-functionally to ensure Amazon is developing 360-degree music plans that are rooted in culture and authenticity
• Provide insights back to product teams that result in improved product capabilities and experiences for creators
• Develop internal playbooks, pitch materials, and performance trackers to increase business

Key job responsibilities
• Develop department strategy (ways of working, KPIs, identify tentpole music moments), including community strategy and culture ambassador program
• Develop and nurture relationships, both internally and externally, to amplify Amazon Music and its sub-brands with culture-shifting creators, brands, and events.
• Globally manage the campaign strategy for tentpole moments, cultural ambassador programs, and community activations to drive awareness and adoption of Amazon Music.
• Interact regularly with music industry counterparts, artists and influencers to facilitate partnerships and develop ongoing business relationships.
• Drive the development of partner initiatives to support culture insertion and relevancy to influential artist, creators and brands.
• Lead the strategy and planning of campaigns for tentpole moments to drive awareness and adoption of Amazon Music.
• Present campaign performance and reporting trends to leadership.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 10+ years of experience in industry relations, artist marketing or strategic partner manager roles, preferably within the music industry
• Experience dealing with complex external partnership management
• Experience in developing department strategy and running cultural programs
• Knowledge of and relationships with managers, artists, and other key players in the industry
• Ability to earn trust and build relationships quickly
• Experience communicating with diverse teams in a collaborative environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and pivot quickly

• Familiarity with Amazon Music community and gaming space
