We are seeking an innovative, analytical and strategic thinker, who is passionate about digital streaming products and wants to help to build and grow the next generation music & audio streaming experience. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex and ambiguous problems, works effectively with cross-functional teams and thrives in a fast-paced setting that is constantly evolving. Your ability to build relationships and influence internally and externally will be critical, as will be your resourcefulness, your analytical skills, and your grit. This role is an individual contributor, but you are the driving force behind your deals and you will need to have the leadership skills to get teams working together around a common purpose. As BD manager you will leverage strategic and data-driven thinking to identify and drive forward opportunities that impact growth and engagement. Your deals will be with a diverse array of global and category-leading brands. You will use your creativity to concept and negotiate deal structures that achieve the goals of both Amazon and each unique partner. You will be comfortable moving multiple deals in different stages forward simultaneously through thoughtful, proactive, and effective approaches.
You will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, recommending, closing, operationalizing and tracking performance of partnerships across various categories such as social, fitness, food delivery, sports, travel, beauty, etc. which support Amazon Music's growth and engagement goals. You need to have the courage to say no to deals that are not aligned with our strategy and the resilience to get an important deal across the finish line when you face pushback. You will not be evaluated by the number of deals you close, but by the quality of the partnerships you form.
