The Global Brand & Integrated Marketing team within Amazon Music is looking for a driven and dynamic Social Media Manager with a passion for music, podcasts, and audio entertainment. The Social Media Manager will lead planning, development, execution, and optimization, and partner closely with the Senior Social Marketing Lead to execute culture-driving campaigns across festivals, livestreams, and sports partnerships. You will own social channel content, tone of voice, and publishing decisions for Amazon Music's Instagram and Twitter, driving both long-term strategy, content and publishing, and day-to-day decisions to build brand affinity and foster community. You will work with internal teams including Music Industry, Podcast, Creative, PR, and Brand Marketing. You will also work with external creative agencies, influencers, content creators, and social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube.

To be successful in this role, this individual needs to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, know how to juggle multiple priorities, and navigate and partner with a large set of internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong instincts to connect our brand's purpose and voice with our audience's passion for music, podcasts, and culture. The candidate will do this through a deep understanding of social media culture and trends, including knowledge of social platform and community behavior to create compelling, authentic and innovative social-first content and programs. You will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think creatively and deliver results. The successful candidate will have a strong sense of ownership and communicate clearly and persuasively.

Key job responsibilities
• Lead planning, ideation, development, and execution for high priority social channels (Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter ) to drive follower growth and engagement as well as conversation for Amazon Music.
• Work closely and collaboratively across Brand Marketing, PR, Creative, Music Industry, and Podcast teams to champion social-first ideas and execute activations, events and strategies.
• Efficiently create highly topical trending content to increase Amazon Music's brand relevance, foster global social conversation, and build vibrant communities.
• Collaborate with other channel leads (TikTok and YouTube) to identify new opportunities, optimize campaigns, and develop innovative activations ahead of competitors.
• Lead execution and tactical planning for Instagram and Twitter campaigns across festivals, livestreams, and sports partnerships
• Develop performance metrics for Amazon Music social handles; monitor regularly to understand effectiveness of strategy and creative, making continuous improvements.
• Continuously ideate and innovate to find new and exciting ways to engage social audiences to drive awareness, conversation and affinity for Amazon Music brand and its exclusive content and product innovations.

• 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
• Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
• Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
• Experience building and optimizing multiple, simultaneous marketing campaigns
• Experience managing or working within cross-functional marketing and creative teams

• Experience in multi-territory campaign management
• Experience in digital marketing and content production timelines and process
• Background or passion for the entertainment industry, especially Music and Podcasts

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $63,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $151,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
