You are an experienced and creative Social Media Manager based in Munich or Berlin with a genuine passion for music and culture. You are highly motivated, results-oriented and have excellent project management skills. Your focus will be on growing the Amazon Music brand in Germany through our social media platforms. You are passionate about social media and culture with a proven experience of using social media to increase brand engagement and reach. You will work alongside regional and global counterparts to devise a local strategy for Amazon Music in Germany where you are expected to seek out local opportunities where relevant. You have strong written and verbal communications skills, as well as an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to influence others. You are known for creativity and innovation but also for rigorous testing, measurement and iteration to improve results continuously. You are an organized self-starter with a strong bias for action and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Primary responsibilities include:
• You will shape social marketing, content and creative strategy locally with a focus on growing engagement and reach across key platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
• You will manage the day-to-day running (posting, boosting, monitoring and moderation) of our Amazon Music social media channels in Germany.
• You will help guide the creation of social media assets and visual identity of the channels you own.
• You will set, report and be accountable for specific social KPIs tracking performance
• You will work internally with the Amazon Music Germany team, in particular the wider marketing and editorial teams, to identify locally relevant ways to grow Amazon Music
• You will work alongside EU brand managers to deliver any marketing campaigns on social, making sure social is a key part of the creative and media brief.
• You will educate the wider team on social trends and capabilities
• You will execute & report on paid promotion
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• In depth experience of working with social media platforms to grow brand engagement and reach (e.g.,Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.) either in an agency or in-house setting
• Experience in managing senior stakeholder relationships and overseeing marketing budgets
• Experience with reporting and analysis for social channels and social efforts as well as developing editorial, copywriting, and/or social media content.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Passion for pop culture combined with a background working in the entertainment industry
• Proven track record of owning projects from start to finish and delivering successful results
-Analytic and quantitative skills - ability to use data to develop and measure marketing programs
• Expertise in paid amplification and boosting of social content
• Ability to think strategically while staying on top of tactical execution
• Capable of multi-tasking and handling complex projects at once amidst rapidly-changing priorities.
• Comfortable dealing with ambiguity.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to think strategically while staying on top of tactical execution
• Ability to communicate with all levels in the organization-technical, business, creative, and executive.
• Demonstrated experience with Sprinklr publishing and reporting or Facebook Business Manager Insights or Social Listening tools.
