About the Role:

We are looking for a Marketing Manager – Podcast Growth Initiatives, who will own our key growth pillar and contribute towards Japan's business growth. Reporting to Japan Music Growth Marketing leadership while closely tied to Global Podcast Marketing org, the successful incumbent is part of an exciting and growing Podcast market segment.

Using their marketing acumen to deliver results by increasing Podcast usage throughout customer segments, the incumbent is expected to lead large, complex and strategic projects and initiatives by closely partnering with both local and global team counterparts and stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities
- Own and address local Podcast marketing goals. Define operating plans, prioritizations as well as executing projects/initiatives.
- Scope, prioritize and lead go-big initiatives aligned with overall growth goals and priorities.
- Contribute towards, own and improve mechanisms.
- Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across diverse teams across orgs and geographies.
- Serve as liaison with global and local teams on initiatives ranging from automation, global tests, local features, local content initiatives and high velocity events.
- Manage blocking issues, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, and meet committed delivery timelines.
- Own local podcast marketing budget planning, tracking and reporting to WW budget owner and finance partner

A day in the life
You will own one of our largest and most strategic priorities. Your main goal will be to drive customer count in Japan. To be successful, you will need to be close to your customer, understand how to reach them, drive acquisition and how keep our audience engaged by leveraging technology and the power of entertainment.

You need to be able to think and act both strategically and tactically - from the creation of plans, to the execution and analysis of business impact. Your day will be spent in a fast-paced environment. You will leverage your proven experience of planning and executing large initiatives across large cross functional teams. You will always be negotiating with key business partners and global Amazon teams to gain alignment on marketing plans.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
- Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
- Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic alliance partners with global footprint
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
