ART19, in addition to offering best-in-class podcast hosting and dynamic ad insertion technology, also provides monetization services for its publishers - including by selling podcast ads. We sell host-read ads across a carefully curated network of podcasts, including shows from NBC, Himalaya, Pharrell Williams, and more. And we offer advertisers a targeted marketplace for advertisers to target specific listener demographics across a pool of more than 1,000 shows. We use an in-house creative studio to record native podcast ads on behalf of our advertisers.
In addition to offering best-in-class podcast hosting and dynamic ad insertion technology, ART19 provides monetization services for its publishers. We sell host-read ads across a curated network of podcasts, including shows from Tig Notaro, Michael Ian Black, Al Franken, and others, and offer a growing targeted ad marketplace across a pool of more than 1,000 podcast shows.
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Product Designer. In this role, you will be a part of a team that will help craft tools that will be used by many of the top publishers, media companies, and agencies in the digital audio space.
You will contribute to design for a variety of internal projects, from discovery to workflow development, to wireframes and high-fidelity mocks, creating experiences that enable podcasters to work more quickly, accurately and efficiently. You will relentlessly simplify and distill complex business processes into intuitive and elegant experiences, working from high-level requirements to define design flows, interactions, and content strategies in collaboration with business leaders, engineers, product managers, and other UX designers. To be successful, you must be a critical, inventive thinker with clear design chops, have an excitement for understanding and using data, and the ability to communicate your ideas effectively. Being a big podcast fan is a plus.
Contribute to the ART19 design team in designing elegant and cutting edge web and mobile products
Create process flows, conceptual diagrams, wireframes, and mockups to effectively communicate high-level design strategies and detailed interaction behaviors.
Create usability testing, final design and detailed interaction behavior specifications for handoff to engineering team
Work closely with cross-functional teams to help define business and feature requirements, user scenarios and use cases
Develop and nurture relationships across teams and disciplines to promote collaboration and efficiency
This position can be located in either Culver City or San Francisco, CA.
• 3+ years of design experience
• Online portfolio and results in Product Design, UX design, and prototyping tools.
• Experience with ad tech products
• Experience in UX design of billing/accounting systems, data products and dashboards
• Experience in UI copy writing
• Experience designing with Pattern Libraries and using a variety of usability testing methodologies.
• Enterprise software design experience in a global context.
• Passion for podcasts
