Music Search Platform product team. We collaborate closely with the entire
Amazon Music organization to create experiences that bring customers

A day in the life
As a Principal Product Manager-Technical of the search platform team, you
will disproportionally help define and build new Amazon Music experiences
by ''lifting all boats'' that make it easier for customers to discover and listen
to music. At Amazon Music, product managers are the CEO of the features
they build and closely collaborate with Engineering, Business Development,
Design, and more, to set strategy for, define, design, and directly manage all
aspects of the customer experience. A successful candidate will be customer
obsessed, highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix
organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and

About the team
The Amazon Music Search team is responsible for the development and operation of a set of services that perform federated search across multiple sources of first and second party data. We collaborate closely with the various Amazon Music client teams and other partners to continuously improve the search experience across all platforms, including visual apps and Amazon Music on Alexa.
• 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
• 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
• Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Excellent customer intuition: You obsess about customers and can translate customer needs into crisp, detailed product requirements.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $144,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
