Key job responsibilities
Our team is looking for a tenured, driven, strategic Principal Product Manager to help grow our
Music Merchandise business by building, scaling, and executing complex cross-functional global
programs. As a Principal Product Manager, you will own execution of new program development and a pipeline of events, including creation of and maintenance of a standard
playbook and prioritization template, encompassing all related work streams to successfully execute events and scale the program (e.g., production, marketing, logistics, operations, finance, tech development, and more). You will also be responsible for tracking and coordinating
execution for the program and individual events across a cross functional work group spanning
Amazon Music teams, internal partner teams, senior leadership, and external stakeholders such as artist management teams. Through influence, excellent written and verbal communication, and effective use of data, you will discover and define program requirements and influence delivery of innovative and robust solutions that scale the business and produce measurable results. The
ideal candidate will be an experienced, detail-oriented, and high-ownership product manager, who has experience delivering results through coordinating, aligning, organize, and motivate a large group of distributed stakeholders.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 7+ years of product or program management experience
• 2+ years of end-to-end product delivery experience including building roadmap strategy and prioritization
• 7+ years of experience delivering cross functional projects
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Bachelor's degree
• High attention to detail including precise and effective stakeholder communications and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of experience driving process improvements
• MBA or Master's degree
• Excellent customer intuition: You obsess about customers and can translate customer and business needs into crisp, detailed requirements
• Able to navigate ambiguous situations, identify and solve for blockers with minimal
• guidance, and build cross-organizational partnerships

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $129,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $240,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Salary Details
Salary: $129,500 Per Year ($ USD)
