Amazon Music is looking for a Marketing Specialist to create impactful marketing and merchandising campaigns for the Music Merch/CD/Vinyl team.

This role is responsible for creating best-in-class marketing campaigns that drive awareness, discoverability, and sales for newly launched merch and physical music products. They will oversee the execution and optimization of all elements of their marketing campaigns (product, copy, targeting, creative templates, timing, etc.) and will leverage performance data and testing to develop recommendations and best practices. They will build, merchandise, and optimize customer ''destinations'' such as the Amazon Music Artist Merch Shop and CDs/Vinyl storefront on Amazon.com. The ideal candidate is a strong project manager who is customer obsessed, data-driven, detail-oriented, and excited to work in a fast-paced environment.

This candidate is comfortable working independently, is excellent at communicating with stakeholders regularly, and collaborates well with cross-functional partners across the Amazon Music, Amazon Fashion, etc. This role requires working at the strategic level - such as putting together trafficking plans and developing processes to help support the growing business, and works at the tactical level of building and optimizing campaigns, analyzing traffic data, and finding solutions to invent and simplify their workflows.

Key job responsibilities
• Own the strategy, planning, and execution of marketing campaigns that raise awareness of the product category and selection of specific artists.
• Analyze and track performance of marketing campaigns, optimize performance, and share learnings with the team.
• Own merchandised landing pages and cross-site marketing campaigns from end-to-end: managing creative processes and asset production, managing the calendar, planning, execution, reporting, and optimization.
• Support the Merch Marketing team in high-priority launches with merchandising recommendations.
• Become the subject matter expert of merchandising on the team, responsible for creating processes to help invent and simplify how we merchandise to drive the biggest impact across the category.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience managing a marketing calendar for a landing page or website
- Experience managing external partners to develop marketing programs
- Experience presenting ideas to various levels of an organization to gain support for initiatives

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $58,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $140,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
