We are looking for an experienced professional to manage Data Center Services Procurement Operations and process optimization for our Digital Shared Services Digi-Flex team. This individual should enjoy a fast-paced environment where they can affect the customer experience and be an instrumental part of expanding our foot print into multiple digital teams.
Key job responsibilities
Managing stakeholder communication across different sites on operational milestones, process changes, escalations, etc.
Support purchase requisition to purchase order (PR/PO) activity.
Facilitate PO modification needs while validating the purchasing details and funding needed to make necessary updates (payment/delivery details, PO closure/reopening, add funds requests, etc.)
Responsible for identifying and resolving issues with the payment process such as invoices on hold (IOH) and invoice approvals.
Owner of program specific goals around SLA, quality and productivity.
Ensure business processes are well documented and continuously updated.
Responsible for identifying customer impacting issues, coming up with solutions and implementing them.
Work with program and technical teams to build and improve the tools and technology to support the process.
Oversee the change management needs required by program, in conjunction with supporting teams in communications, training, and content management.
Define, measure and present operational metrics to senior leadership.
Responsible for escalating spike in volumes vs. forecast, people issues etc.
Manages people (15-20 members) performance and support career growth.
Responsible for hiring, training and building a highly motivated team and mentoring leadership talent pipeline.
About the team
Digi-Flex AWS team provides operations support to Data Center Procurement, Requisitioning and Operations team by supporting various processes using scalable and systematic methods.
We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:
Chennai, TN, IND
Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Engineering, Operations, or other field from an accredited university or 5+ years relevant experience.
2+ years of team, people and performance management experience.
2+ years of program or project management experience.
Advanced data analysis skills; the ability to extract and synthesize data.
Experience in leading process improvements.
Experience in managing operational processes, with SLA responsibility.
Experience as purchaser, buyer, or other operational role within a procurement organization.
Advanced Excel / SQL/ Tableau skills.
Working knowledge of procurement tools.
Experience with competitive bidding.
Experience with requisitioning, invoice management and accounts payable.
Experience delivering cross functional projects.
