We build systems that will be distributed around the world, spanning mobile apps and voice-forward experiences on Amazon Echo devices, powered by Alexa. Amp products support our mission of delivering audio entertainment in new and exciting ways that creators and listeners will love.
Amp is looking for an experienced and innovative social marketing leader to bring our brand to life across social channels. This is an amazing opportunity for someone who wants to lead at a brand centered around cultural content across music, sports, and entertainment. Amp radio shows are hosted by top creators, artists, athletes, and everyday people. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with an innate passion for culture and trends, and is able to connect cultural moments to our brand, creators, and content. This role is both visionary and tactical, requiring someone who is strategic, creative, and analytical, with a deep understanding of the dynamics of each social platform. In this role, you'll shape our brand across key social platforms, connect with digital communities, and introduce Amp to many different audiences. This is a highly visible and cross-functional leadership role, crucial to positioning social at the forefront of everything we do.
This role can be located in Los Angeles, Atlanta, or New York
Key job responsibilities
• Lead social strategy, content development, and execution aligned to brand objectives and business goals
• Create strategic approach, content plan, and define success metrics for each priority social platform
• Drive business impact through engagement of key communities across social platforms
• Partner with content marketing and creative to deliver content across social channels that enables Amp content sampling, engages audiences, and drives brand advocacy
• Drive the creative briefing process for all social content, working with brand, creative, and agency partners to create high impact content
• Lead influencer marketing and talent opportunities to effectively and authentically engage creators and communities
• Ensure Amp brand identity and social tone of voice is represented consistently across all social touch-points
• Own reporting mechanisms and consistent analysis to track content performance, health of channels, and inform ongoing strategy
• Manage sentiment and aggregate customer insights across channels to improve brand perception and inform brand and communication strategy
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 9+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
• Experience driving direction and alignment with cross-functional teams
• Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
• Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
• Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
• Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Digital native, with strong ability to tell stories and create brand continuity across priority platforms, including IG, Twitter, TikTok
• Ability to articulate a vision and strategy that inspires and motivates internal teams and external partners
• Exceptional understanding of the creative process and an ability to effectively lead briefings, collaborate and manage teams to deliver on project goals
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience leading social marketing programs at a consumer facing brand in music, entertainment, sports, or media, with a known connection to culture
• Extremely high standards, detail-oriented, natural problem solver that thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Ability to move quickly and proactively plan and manage programs under tight timelines
• Experience effectively managing external resources and third-party agencies
• Advanced analytical experience and ability to evaluate social metrics and apply a data-centric approach to testing and optimizing content
