LA Galaxy, Stage Manager (Part-Time)

Job Summary
The Stage Manager assists with presentation and entertainment during LA Galaxy home games and events.
Essential Functions
• Provide support to the Game Presentation department during all LA Galaxy home games and Club events
• Assist with pregame and halftime rehearsals, sound check, etc., by managing staff, ensuring equipment is prepared and coordinating logistics.
• Manage pre-game and halftime entertainment from field-level, including national anthem, musical performances, sponsor elements, promotional giveaways, interviews, presentations, youth soccer games, special ceremonies, etc. Responsibilities include coordination of staff/performers/fans, preparation of materials, setting up live camera shots, clear communication with event producer, etc.
• Frame and execute live camera shots for Galaxy TV while coordinating with contestants, in-game host, mascot, and promotional team
• Assist with set up and tear down of SoccerFest, on-field setup and various other postgame tasks including but not limited to Postgame On-Field Experiences, load in/out of game day materials, etc.
• Act as liaison between on-field officials and production team during games
Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma or its equivalency (BA/BS Degree Preferred)
• 0-2 years: Related work experience
• Must be proactive, organized, and resourceful with great attention to detail
• Ability to multi-task, meet tight timelines, and work effectively in a high pressure and fast-paced environment
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize efficiently and quickly
• Outstanding interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to professionally communicate and interact with all levels of management, staff, fans, children, players, VIP's, etc.
• Effectively handle lifting of various objects weighing in excess of 35 lbs. with assistance from other members of the team
• Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time
• Work outdoors in varying weather conditions to include extreme heat or cold.
• Flexible schedule to allow commitment to ALL LA Galaxy home games, including some weekends, evenings, and some holidays to meet game/event needs
• Team Sports/ Soccer interest is a plus
Payscale: $20.00
Bonus: This position is not eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
Benefits: This position may be eligible for benefits (ACA qualification).
