Senior Manager, Software Engineering (PH) - ABC News

ABC News's new Galaxy facility will be structured as a software-defined production environment, requiring the skill sets of a person well versed in large scale software development & deployment projects in broadcast production.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be the bridge between the broadcast operations and development teams involved in the construction of Galaxy. He/she will take the direction provided by the ABC News Operations management team and define the structure, schedule, and deployment of these workflows. The candidate will manage all aspects in implementing this process including leading the software teams, managing the deliverable product and reporting back to the executive team.

Basic Qualifications:

This person should have significant experience (5+ years) in managing large projects in vendor/manufacturing environments with tight timetables, as well as knowledge of complex television production workflows. Experience in managing/directing multiple structured teams of software developers is a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

BSCS/BSEE or equivalent preferred, MBA a plus.

Required Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
