A24 is looking for an Theatrical Accounting Associate to manage the receivables and payables processes between A24 and external partners and vendors. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver who is highly organized and diligent with the ability to build and maintain relationships both internally and externally. We are open to NY or LA based candidates..
Responsibilities
• Invoice and collect film rental from theatrical exhibitors
• Create purchase orders and process incoming invoices from third party vendors
• Input and apply payments in our theatrical distribution software (TDS)
• Import and audit box office reports (BORs) using TDS
• Reconcile payments and receivables with weekly reporting
• Own quality assurance in TDS, ensuring all information is accurate
• Assist in any ad-hoc projections
Qualifications
• 0-1 year of experience with payables/collections and/or theatrical distribution preferred
• Bachelor's Degree (or commensurate experience) with coursework in Accounting or related field preferred
• Comfortable with large data sets
• Strong work ethic and drive for results
• Ability to stay organized
• Detail-oriented
• Strong communicator with the ability to maintain good relationships internally and externally
• Problem-solver
• Humble, diligent, resourceful
