Job Description
A24 is seeking a Film Finance Analyst/ Associate. As a key member of our Finance team, you will collaborate with teams across the company (incl. Accounting, Legal, Production, and Distribution) to analyze different film deal structures and distribution plans to support decision-making across A24's feature film slate
Initial Responsibilities
• Building financial models for different deal structures to support decision-making across A24's feature film slate
• Conducting analysis of the financial impact of different distribution plans
• Forecasting participations and residuals in collaboration with the Accounting team
• Collaborating with Legal and Business Affairs to analyze the impact of different deal terms
• Forecasting and tracking film license fee revenue and marketing spend (v. budget)
• Conducting analysis of A24's film performance in foreign territories to inform strategic decision-making
Qualifications
• 3 - 5 years of experience in a related role. Media/entertainment experience a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Ability to review and absorb legal contracts
• Advanced knowledge and application of Microsoft Excel
• General understanding of GAAP financial reporting and analyzing financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects and competing priorities in a demanding fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and present to all levels of the company
