MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:

You'll have a diverse portfolio that spans Consumer Enterprises' business lines and A+E Networks' brands: you'll support the growth of our existing businesses and create new ones. You'll apply new business models against the company's existing corporate assets to create growth in the form of new live events and experiences, or entirely new ways to engage our audience in-person or virtually in close collaboration with the VP Consumer Enterprises. Responsibilities will include:
• Work with VP of Consumer Enterprises set overall goals and revenue targets for the business
• Develop annual strategy and business plan for live events and experiences
• Manage the day-to-day the live tour and events businesses with licensees and vendors to ensure goals are achieved and resources are in place to support business efforts.
• Work with VP of Consumer Enterprises to identify, secure and implement new business opportunities in the live and virtual event and experiences space.
• Work with Creative, Marketing and Communications teams to develop creative assets and marketing campaigns that support the success of the CE live events businesses.
• Identify and implement new operational processes to streamline the team's workflow and drive efficiency.
• Work with L &BA to ensure all necessary vendor, trademark, talent and S&P rights and approvals are identified and in place to support the live events and experiential business
• When appropriate, negotiate contracts, business, and contract terms with licensees and/or vendors. Work with the LB&A department to facilitate the drafting and implementation of contracts.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure live event and experience strategies are consistent with market needs and opportunities, as well as overall Consumer Enterprises priorities

YOUR STORY:

The individual must be a high-potential manager with strong interpersonal skills and capability to understand and drive all parts of the Live Events & Experiential business.
• 5+ years of prior general live events and/or location-based entertainment experience with P&L or operational responsibilities is a plus
• Excellent cross-team collaboration and partnership skills, with demonstrated ability to work across organizations and reporting boundaries to get things done
• Successfully demonstrated experience internal and external clients
• Strong critical thinking skills, creativity, and the ability to successfully multi-task
• Proven negotiating skills, and experience in developing and implementing long-term strategies
• Capable communicator who can make arguments clearly and succinctly, both verbally and in writing
• Innovative and creative: whether you're designing a new product, improving a website experience, or brainstorming marketing concepts, you're asking questions and sharing your point of view. You're a creative thinker.
• Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, and self-motivated: a team player with a bias for action
• Flexible: You can go from high-level strategy to in-the-weeds execution and have a strong ability to multitask. You thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment that necessitates working on many different projects simultaneously. You are extremely organized and detail oriented.
