Serve as the main insurance liaison to Finance and Legal & Business Affairs and oversee all aspects of AETN's risk and insurance portfolio. This position is also responsible for supporting an Enterprise Risk Management initiative on behalf senior leadership and evaluating and monitoring the company's production insurance packages, which are utilized by both internal and external production companies.

MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Manage AETN's corporate insurance program and AETN's relationships with brokers and insurers for all lines of coverage (e.g., Property, D&O Liability, Cyber Liability, etc.), collaborating with internal partners to prepare submission material in support of all underwriting activity.
• Develop processes to ensure timely identification, reporting and tracking of all outstanding claim liabilities.
• Perform regular due diligence with respect to insurance coverage carried by AETN's international offices, joint ventures, portfolio companies and potential acquisitions and divestitures.
• In conjunction with SVP, Content, Production & Risk, drive an enterprise-wide risk management initiative and administer quarterly risk-intake surveys that support executive leadership.
• Monitor and evaluate insurance programs that are built to cover legal claims arising from both scripted and unscripted production activity and program content.
• Work closely with programming partners and production teams to assess whether background checks and/or psych evaluations should be required for participation depending on program concept.
• Coordinate and approve security plans for high-risk production shoots and programming-related events in conjunction with third-party risk assessment vendors and/or AETN's internal security team.
• Create production safety protocols for internal production units to address risks presented by COVID-19 and meet industry standards.
• Assist broader legal team with the drafting and review of contracts to promote inclusion of appropriate insurance requirements and risk transfer conditions.

• Minimum 8 years' experience in insurance and/or risk management.
• Expertise in enterprise risk management and loss prevention.
• Strong understanding of insurance matters relating to television production and distribution.
• Comprehensive knowledge of business operation and interrelationships among departments and between company and producers.
• Strong time management and multi-tasking skills needed and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Detailed-oriented and extremely organized.
• Must have the ability to work independently, efficiently and be able to meet deadlines under strict time constraints.
• Highest quality oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with highest level management and staff at any level.
• Must be able to handle confidential information.
• Required Education: BA/BS Degree
