Senior Associate, Production Management (Finance) Temporary

Work Locations: With the exception of some select roles that have In-Office requirements, most temporary or third party payroll workers should expect to work remotely, unless otherwise discussed.

Job Description

This temp role will support the networks' Programming, Finance and Business Affairs departments on business matters relating to production budgets. This role will input and oversee data from budgets and related materials for financial analysis and cost control decisions. This position will report into the Senior Director of Production Management.

MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Production Database coordination and usage
• Analyze budgets in database. Run variance reports. Identify trends on categories and line items. Highlight differences between productions. Target opportunities for bulk deals.

Budget review:
• Second review of production budget to use database to identify variances, compare show models, highlight unique items and escalate to team.
• Additional responsibilities aligned with the budget process:
• Cost per hour analysis
• Utilize tax credit opportunities
• Leverage Production Company volume
• Prepare questions against budget assumptions
• Analyze and diagram creative materials
• Compare production against similar productions

Budget Analysis/data entry
• Review financial analysis from the internal database for each new production
• Analysis will include:
• Modeling and measuring
• Identify variances and key differences
• Assess budget staffing modeling
• Input data into team reports
• Partner in creation of presentation materials for Senior Leadership

Cost Reporting/Actuals:
• Track Covid contracted budgeted amounts, production start and completion dates.
• Determine final payments for Covid contracts against budgeted amount. Review cost report at beginning and end of production. Measure savings of released Covid budget amounts monthly and create report for Senior Leadership.

Team Coordination
• Strategize re-design of E-filing system
• PDF budgets, MM budgets, calendars, production schedules, correspondence, cost reports, sizzles, decks, contracts, tax certificates, reports
• Utilize emerging technologies and industry processes to enhance performance and productivity

Reports:
• Maintain Genre, Tax Credit and Volume Reports: enter data and review with team monthly for quarterly issuance to Senior Management.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:

YOUR STORY:
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience
• Production and/or network experience required
• Strong Excel skills required
• Proficiency with a variety of software applications and budgeting systems
• Problem-solver with strong analytical skills and a key attention to detail
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Ability to organize and manage time to meet multiple deadlines
• Experience in creating presentation materials to present complex data
• BA/BS preferred

Please note project assignment associates are engaged to provide service to A+E Networks on a temporary basis in connection with a specific project. Project assignment associates are hired and employed through a third party vendor with a duration/tenure of no longer than eighteen (18) months.

Compensation
Contract Hourly Pay Rate: $45.00

The pay rate displayed serves as a good faith estimate for this role.

such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, location, and
