Program Accounting Manager

A+E Networks has an amazing Manager opportunity in New York providing support in the accounting department.

MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Manager, Program Accounting:
• Prepare GL reconciliations for all production companies
• Review production funding requests
• Prepare intercompany journal entries between related entities
• Review bank reconciliations for all production level companies
• Interact with production team in New York & Los Angeles
• Maintain subsidiary ledger for all In-house productions
• Monitor production spend on in-house productions
• Collect and maintain records for yearly Audits
• Provide support to tax department on yearly filings for AETN and production level entities
• Work with receivables department to ensure that revenue is being collected and invoices are being produced
• Prepare month-end close journal entries
• Support finance and production departments in maintaining yearly budgets and quarterly forecasts
• Prepare ad-hoc projects to help management make informed decisions
• Prepare reconciliation processes for all internal productions
• Develop processes to track revenues from 3rd party sales and corresponding amortization expense
• Develop processes to capture production costs are capitalized and expensed for internal use.

YOUR STORY:
• BA/BS Accounting Degree
• 4-5 years of relevant accounting experience, CPA a plus
• Strong understanding of intercompany accounting
• Entertainment and/or agency experience a plus
• Detailed-oriented and extremely organized
• Must have the ability to work independently, efficiently and be able to meet deadlines under strict time constraints
• Knowledge or experience in programming development and production a plus
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Please note project assignment associates are engaged to provide service to A+E Networks on a temporary basis in connection with a specific project. Project assignment associates are hired and employed through a third-party vendor with a duration/tenure of no longer than eighteen (18) months.
