A+E is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our Legal & Business Affairs Department as a Paralegal, Technology and Vendor Management. Our legal department helps to support several A+E business lines, with a focus on assisting A+E Technology and Office Services teams on a variety of matters related to technology services/products as well as physical office and infrastructure related services.

Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Paralegal who will work under the guidance of A+E attorneys to assess risk and develop contract processes, review and advise on contract matters, review and draft a variety of vendor and supplier agreements (including NDA, orders, SOW and various types of vendor service agreements) and ensure compliance with documentation execution, retention and filing procedures. The role will entail directly communicating with staff on engagements, arranging critical exchanges of information, and reviewing incoming documents for relevance and proper dispensation, including a review of content for attorney overview. This role will also contribute to broader Legal & Business Affairs group projects from time to time.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and/or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program

At least 3 years of experience at a large law firm or in-house legal department

Ability to read and understand contractual terms and strong experience in reviewing and negotiating contracts

The ideal candidate has relevant experience in an in-house legal department responsible for contract lifecycle management in connection with technology and/or office infrastructure goods and services.

Additional Qualifications:
Familiarity with DocuSign or similar electronic signature application

Familiarity with document and contract management systems and process

Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, common sense, and business judgment
Excellent organizational and communication skills

Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines, prioritize time-sensitive tasks, manage client expectations, and work across organizational and geographic boundaries.

Able to learn and apply new information, skills, and procedures
