A&E Television Networks, LLC seeks a Director, Data Analytics & Integrations in New York, New York. This position is responsible for enterprise data architecture, business intelligence, data warehousing, meta data management, enterprise integration, DB modeling and DB design.

MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Specific duties include: designing, developing, deploying, maintaining, and enhancing the executive business socialization of data management and architecture, including DB design, physical design and modeling, as well as all aspects of enterprise business intelligence, data warehouse, and enterprise integration strategy; defining data management and governance best practices and standards to ensures consistent application of those practices across the organization; defining data and information architecture standards, policies and procedures for the organization, structure, attributes and nomenclature of data elements to apply accepted data content standards to technology projects; facilitating a consistent business analysis, data acquisition, access analysis and design, and Database Management Systems optimization to archive the recovery strategy, load strategy design and implementation, and manage the security and change at the enterprise level; leading the development and continuous enhancement of application vision and roadmap (both functional and technical) for data warehousing and BI solutions by aligning to business objectives; managing the development and applications of trends, value and utilization of data warehousing and BI applications to closely follows the evolution of business models and organizational priorities, and to ensures data assets are effectively managed across the enterprise; directing the modernization of analytic capabilities, processes and practices for the company to ensure that date is accurate; managing the development and implementation of capabilities to improve, monitor, and audit data quality within the reporting and analytics environment; leading one view of customer and content by providing flexible intelligent reporting and analytics platform risks appropriately to plan proactive mitigation.

Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in an alternative occupation such as Software Engineer, Web Application Architect, or in a related business intelligence role.

Must also have experience with each of the following skills:

(1) Designing and developing applications using coding languages such as J2EE, JavaScript, SQL, Unix Shell Scripts;

(2) Designing and building data solutions, such as creating data warehouse, ETL, reports and dashboards, to get insight into business KPI's using BI Tools;

(3) Designing the architect solutions to run on the Cloud using AWS and Azure; and

(4) managing small to large complex projects by initiating, planning, executing, controlling and closing work of team to complete all project phases within budget and time.
