The Associate Producer for Six West Media serves as a key member of the team working to support both the development and production teams. The Associate Producer will track the status of ongoing projects and deliverables for both development and production, assist with casting, create decks, look for up and coming talent, work with freelance production teams on active shows and manage show deliverables for shows aired.

Associate Producer, Six West MediaTM:
• Generate ideas – have your eyes and ears open to news, pop culture, internet trends, interesting worlds…anything that can inspire an unscripted series for A&E, History, Lifetime and external buyers.
• Conduct skype interviews with potential talent or subjects and cutdown into casting tapes to pitch to networks.
• Research trending podcasts (through iTunes, Spotify, articles, etc.) and sending bi-weekly reports to the team.
• Create pitch decks for projects in development
• Work with third-party vendors to retrieve and clear archival elements for shows in production.
• Manage tracking internal brand slates and sending weekly reports to the team.
• Manage and update various Six West AirTable bases, which tracks all departmental information from project status, freelancer details, workloads, etc
• Work with show's associate producers in post-production and manage workflow of deliverables to upload, which includes (but not limited to) final script, lower thirds, credits, shot sheet and all available releases.
• Assist editors and pull any necessary footage and music for sizzle reels.
• Work with the Stamford division to request any footage, b-roll or screeners needed for ongoing projects.
• Work with in-house graphics team during shows in production as needed
• Managing the Six West Media Box folders and Google Drive to make sure they are up to date.
YOUR STORY:
• BA/BS Degree.
• Demonstrate knowledge and experience in television/film production.
• Graphic design skills in Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign/Pages a must.
• Strong communication, organizational and administrative skills are essential.
• Candidate must have the ability to take direction from more than one individual, work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Must be able to work well in a team environment and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners and suppliers.
• Ability to manage, give direction to and prioritize for a team.
• Passion for TV and pop culture.
