The Job

WarnerMedia Equity & Inclusion team is looking for an intern to help facilitate internal mentoring and development initiatives as well as plan and execute our presence at external diversity conferences and conventions. This intern will assist in designing and implementing initiatives to foster safe, equitable and inclusive work cultures that drive the productivity, creativity, and innovativeness of WarnerMedia corporate employees and cast and crew members across all WM productions. Interns will support projects across various focus areas including learning & development, culture & EI engagement, talent advancement and EI strategy.

The Daily

The tasks include, but are not limited to:
• Support department members in development and execution of cultural milestone activations i.e. Women's History Month
• Assist in deck and document preparation for presentations
• Assist in briefing preparation for E&I leadership panel participation
• Assist in general research and data input; create tables in excel; organize information from various sources
• Collect key data, success stories, and other media worthy information to highlight the industry
• Create and manage and promote social media content
• Coordinate and/or edit presentations, logistics for convention sponsorships
• External partnerships & internal development programs
• Provide administrative support for team

The Essentials
• Excellent verbal and written communication + problem solving skills
• Some experience with social media planning and execution
• Demonstrated interest in the entertainment industry and equity and inclusion specifically
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Event planning experience
• Must be MS Office proficient: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• High level of confidentiality required
• Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in social media and digital media

Internship Program
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Summer 2022 program dates are June 6- August 12; must be available for full program duration
• Full-time schedule (40hours/week) designed to work around class schedule
• Company-issued computer provided for the duration of the internship program.
