The Job

WarnerMedia's Consumer and Digital Products group seeks a Quality Assurance Engineer Intern for the CD&P Entertainment department. We are a fast-paced, innovative development division working to build the next generation of video-enabled entertainment brands. We are shaping the future of media by combining our cutting-edge technology, design, and marketing capabilities with the world's most beloved and iconic brands (e.g., Looney Tunes, DC Comics, Harry Potter, and Ellen DeGeneres) to build a portfolio of next-generation multi-media entertainment services. We are looking for an intern to join our Quality Assurance Engineering team. Our QA team is the last line of defense against bad software making it out to users. We are experts on how our applications work, and we have the final word on whether each release meets quality standards.

The Daily
• Responsibilities for the QA Engineer Intern role include
• Testing our releases on web, mobile, and OTT apps
• Writing and executing test cases based on product specifications
• Creating bug tickets to document defects in our applications
• Writing automated tests to detect software regressions

The Essentials
• Currently pursuing a Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other related fields
• General computing and command-line knowledge
• Experience programming in Python, JavaScript or another major language
• Experience with testing tools such as Selenium, Appium and Postman
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Self-motivated, entrepreneurial outlook, and strong problem-solving skills

Internship Program
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Spring 2022 program dates are January 24th - April 15th; must be available for full program duration
• Part-time schedule (16-24 hours/week) designed to work around class schedule
• Company-issued computer provided for the duration of the internship program
