The Job

The Social Media Intern is a position that offers a variety of opportunities to leverage social and digital media insights in an ever-changing advertising landscape. It is an educational internship that exposes an intern to all aspects of paid social advertising, inside and outside of the agency on amazing brands like [adult swim], Cartoon Network, TBS, TNT, and Bleacher Report. Support the Social Media Manager and extended Social Media team (Social Media Planners) department with the assistance of account assignments and/or campaigns, including the effective preparation of media plans and recommendations, and the implementation of media buys for all assigned accounts.

The Daily
• Social platforms that are core to each business unit; the difference between paid social media and organic social media.
• Full media Campaign objectives through contact with fellow team members up and down a marketing department: account management, creative, media and research.
• Advertising-related computer programs like Nielsen Media Impact, Facebook Audience Insights, Twitter Analytics & Twitter Ads Dashboard, Snap Ads Dashboard, TikTok Ads Dashboard, Mobile Measurement Platforms, etc.
• Social Media vendor capabilities from numerous companies to be better informed on their property as well as the market they reach, and the opportunity to meet with key platform leads on a weekly basis.
• Responsible for the trafficking and control of creative materials within campaign Content Calendars.
• Development of the campaign Content Calendar & ownership of all advertising unit specs. The intern will ensure specs remain up-to-date.
• Maintains approved Plans in the corresponding software (i.e. UNIFY).
• Brainstorming and planning of client campaigns.
• Reviewing digital analytics reporting from the agency to recap for marketing teams.
• Developing Media presentations, analysis, and reports.

Internship Program
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for the full duration of the internship
• Preferably a Master's level student (non-MBA)
• Summer 2022 program dates are June 6th - August 12th (optional time frames are available for students in a university quarter system); must be available for full program duration
• Full-time schedule (40 hours/week) required
• Company-issued computer provided for the duration of the internship program.
