Overview

Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden (WBSL) is a purpose built, state-of-the-art film and television studio offering one of the largest facilities in the UK. This 200 acre secure site has a quarter of a million square feet of stage space, back-lot tank, one of the largest heated underwater filming tanks in Europe and a 100 acre back-lot.

WBSL has a collection of nineteen sound stages, some of which are the largest in the UK. The site also has its own, on-site Set Lighting & Rigging division, which provides the industry with state-of-the-art lighting equipment, scaffolding and production supplies for stage and location shoots. WB De Lane Lea based in Soho, London, provides state of the art facilities in post-production for feature films and television.

These facilities make Warner Bros. Entertainment the only Hollywood studio to own and operate a production and post production facility in the U.K.

Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter showcases the authentic sets, special effects and behind-the-scenes secrets of the Harry Potter film series. Located at the Studios where all eight films were produced.

In addition to the Tour retail, WBSL also includes Platform 9¾ shops at Kings Cross, Heathrow and Gatwick, Cursed Child merchandising as well as the soon-to-be opened photographic exhibition in Covent Garden. The UK-based retail finance team also supports the Harry Potter Flagship store in New York, opening in summer 2021, as well as E-commerce operations based in the UK and US.

The Job
• The position works at Leavesden reporting to the Retail Finance Manager within the Tours & Retail finance team. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure all revenues and costs are appropriately reported and reconciled to the Aptos retail system.

The Daily
• Review of daily Aptos sales audit queries
• Prepare ad hoc reconciliations (e.g. cash receipts, Adyen reports)
• Weekly revenue reporting of HPOL and retail locations for rental calculations
• Monthly data downloads for VAT reconciliations etc.
• Downloading and collating reports as required
• Raising invoices and/or POs as required
• Reviewing system interfaces with technology team
• Support cash office function as required
• Preparation of data for royalty reporting
• Running and refreshing month end bridge reports and other Lux reports
• Ensure all Warner Bros policies and procedures are followed

The Essentials
• You must be a current University student in your 2nd year of study, looking to spend your 3rd year on placement and graduating no earlier than July 2023.
• Working knowledge of Excel.
• Experience of providing reports and analyzing data.
• Highly numerical with exceptional attention to detail.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player.
• Good organizational skills.

The Nice-to-Haves
• Working knowledge of SAP
• Previous experience of working in TV or Film production
