The Job

WarnerMedia seeks a Fall Intern for the WB Finance Accounting department.

The Daily
• Assist and prepare reconciliations to ensure completeness. Skills learned: working in excel with large data sets, account reconciliations, coordination with other departments.
• Reperform desktop procedures (DTP) to improve efficiency in day-to-day processes. Skills learned: understanding the business, working with and providing instruction to SDC team.
• Review new customer/licensee agreements, creating abstracts. Skills learned: understanding the business, contract language/interpretation, organization skills.
• Review accounting policies for major reserves . Skills learned: understanding the business, core accounting basics.
• Involvement in day-to-day journal entry preparation and review (MPM/location code/profit center reclasses, etc.). Skills learned: core accounting basics, technical SAP knowledge, working with and providing instruction to SDC team

The Essentials
• Current student with a major in accounting.
• Previous internship experience is a plus

Internship Program
• Students must be currently enrolled in a college degree program for full duration of the internship.
• Fully remote/virtual experience; company owned laptop provided for the duration of the internship program.
• Salary based on office location; relocation is not provided.
• This position is targeted toward upperclassmen and graduate students.
