Your Role Accountabilities
The Project Manager MBA Intern will engage in a range of impactful projects, including developing and refining financial models. They will collaborate with both regional and global teams to support revenue-generating activities through comprehensive financial analytics. This role provides hands-on experience in strategizing and executing financial strategies critical to our business objectives.
The intern will be responsible for managing and closing the loop on assigned initiatives. This includes tracking project progress, ensuring timely completion of tasks, and delivering results that align with departmental goals. Accountability in these areas is crucial for the successful execution of our projects.
By the end of the summer, the intern will have gained valuable experience working closely with senior stakeholders and understanding the company's strategic objectives. They will be able to showcase their ability to collaborate effectively within a team, execute projects efficiently, and contribute to significant revenue-generating initiatives.
The intern will be involved in constructing forecasts for lending balances and revenues for key areas such as Latin American sports, CNN, and streaming products. This experience will offer insights into financial planning and strategic analysis within a global context.
Qualifications & Experience
Essentials needed for the positions that are similar across the above roles (these do not all have to apply to every single role)
• Strong written and oral communication skills and a positive, collaborative, and proactive approach to teamwork.
• Ability to clearly communicate all aspects of quantitative model design, analysis to business unit, and during model review.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint
• Bilingual (Spanish) Portuguese is a plus
• Hands-on experience manipulating data and statistical models, preferably with financial contexts.
• Must be actively enrolled in a US-accredited college or university MBA degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
• Must be a 1st year MBA student

• Must be a rising Junior, rising Senior or Graduate Student (18 years or older)
• Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA) A transcript will be required to verify your GPA if an offer is extended.
• Warner Bros. Discovery will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Warner Bros. Discovery now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States. Candidates currently on any student or exchange visa, including F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1, etc., will not be eligible for the internship program.
What To Know Before Applying:
• The duration of the summer program regardless of which start/end option is 11 weeks .
• Program date options:
Option 1: June 1 st – August 1 4 th
Option 2: June 8 th – August 2 1 st
• Interns will be expected to work 35-40 hours per week in a hybrid capacity
• Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required ; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.
• Interviewing will take place from mid February through early- April . A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.
• On December 5, Netflix and Warner Bros. Discovery announced they have entered into a definitive agreement under which Netflix will acquire Warner Bros., including its film and television studios, HBO Max and HBO. The transaction is expected to close after the separation of Warner Bros. Discovery's Global Networks division, Discovery Global, into a new publicly-traded company, which is expected to be completed in Q3 2026. • Although you will be hired by Warner Bros. Discovery, upon the planned spin-off of Discovery Global in 2026, your employment likely will transition to Warner Bros.
