We have multiple Studio Services internship opportunities available. By applying to this posting, you will be considered for multiple internship opportunities within this general area. These internships will be located in the LA area. The selected interns will be expected to join us in the office on a regular cadence based on the intern manager's in office schedule.Example internship opportunities could include:

Warner Bros. is a globally renowned entertainment company known for producing and distributing a wide range of films, television series, and digital content. We are committed to creating a safe work environment for our studio, cast, and crew members on and off set. We are looking for a Studio Health & Safety Intern that will work closely with the Safety Department at the Burbank Lot along with a Studio Services intern for someone who wants to understand how a huge studio lot with hundreds of buildings, backlots, landscaping, and stages is managed and operated on a daily basis. Studio Services touch all aspects of the industry from working with productions to the technical aspects of keeping clients comfortable and safe. The challenges that are met vary from day to day, so it is always interesting.
Your Role Accountabilities
• Scan and organize safety documents into a central locations database
• Organize equipment inventory / asset management system in our fall protection equipment room
• Assist in updating health & safety documents (program, policies, and best practices)
• Assist in the ongoing departmental safety officer program
• Assist in the development of training course videos, handouts, PowerPoint, and documentation in our Airtable training database
• Assist in the development and organization of our hazardous communication program including gathering safety data sheets
• Interact and collaborate with a wide range of trades and managers across the studio lot
• Support projects focused on organizing and maintaining emergency supplies
• Assist with stage walks, job walks, and space turnovers
• Provide hands‑on support during construction activities and site walkthroughs
• Partner with Construction, Utilities, and Facilities teams to support day‑to‑day operations and special projects
• Gain exposure to the business operations of running a studio lot and learn how cross‑functional teams work together to deliver complex projects
Qualifications & Experience
• Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health, Environmental Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Public Health or a related field [required for the Studio Health & Safety role]
• Knowledge of Cal/OSHA or OSHA safety regulations [required for the Studio Health & Safety role]
• Interest in understanding the behind‑the‑scenes, practical, and technical operations of a studio lot
• Curiosity about the operational and day‑to‑day functions of a movie studio environment
• Self‑starter who can take ownership of assigned tasks and work independently
• Comfortable being self‑directed with regular check‑ins and guidance from the team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with numerous team members
• Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneDrive and SharePoint are a plus
• Strong follow-through, accountability, and clear communication skills
• Ability to manage tasks efficiently and support timely, well-informed decision-making
• Interest in learning studio services operations, including collaboration with productions and facility teams
• Basic computer proficiency and effective written and verbal communication skills
• Must be actively enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required )
• Must be a rising Junior or rising Senior undergrad student (18 years or older)
• Must be in academic good standing (3.0 or above GPA) A transcript will be required to verify your GPA if an offer is extended.
• Warner Bros. Discovery will only consider candidates who are presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and who will not require work visa sponsorship from Warner Bros. Discovery now or in the future in order to retain their authorization to work in the United States. Candidates currently on any student or exchange visa, including F-1 CPT, F-1 OPT, J-1, M-1, etc., will not be eligible for the internship program.
The Nice to Haves
• Possess either OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification [for the Studio Health & Safety role]
• Some hands-on experience with industrial hygiene sampling instrument [for the Studio Health & Safety role]
What To Know Before Applying:
• The duration of the summer program regardless of which start/end option is 11 weeks .
• Program date options:
• Option 1: June 1 st – August 1 4 th
• Option 2: June 8 th – August 2 1 st
• Interns will be expected to work 35-40 hours per week in a hybrid capacity
• Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required ; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. Relocation is not provided.
• Interviewing will take place from mid February through early- April . A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.
• On December 5, Netflix and Warner Bros. Discovery announced they have entered into a definitive agreement under which Netflix will acquire Warner Bros., including its film and television studios, HBO Max and HBO. The transaction is expected to close after the separation of Warner Bros. Discovery's Global Networks division, Discovery Global, into a new publicly-traded company, which is expected to be completed in Q3 2026. • Although you will be hired by Warner Bros. Discovery, upon the planned spin-off of Discovery Global in 2026, your employment likely will transition to Warner Bros.
