Your New Role
We have multiple Content Planning Internship opportunities available. By applying to this posting, you will be considered for all internship opportunities within this area. These internships will be located in the NYC area. The selected interns will be expect ed to join us in the office on a regular cadence based on the intern managers in office schedule.
This could include, but is not limited to:
• HBO Content Planning & Scheduling Intern: NY – Spring 2024
• HBO/Max Content Strategy & Planning Intern: NY – Spring 2024
Your Role Accountabilities
Duties for the HBO Content Planning & Scheduling team could include:
• Screen theatricals for content sensitivity and appropriate channel placement
• Maintain Airtable Inventories for both MAX and FAST
• Assist with stunting trackers
• Liaise with cross-partner teams to help communicate scheduling priorities
Duties for the HBO / Max Content Strategy & Planning team could include:
• Maintaining internal metadata trackers for content
• Helping our coordinator with FAST related projects & trackers
• Cleaning up data for our yearly Competitive SVOD/FVOD Analysis work
• Ad Hoc research projects to help with content related projects
• Helping the overall team create & format strategy related presentations
• Making sure trackers are up to date with the latest
• Helping the team review projects before sending off
• Ad Hoc responsibilities with relations to current priorities
Qualifications & Experience
• Essentials needed for the positions that are similar across the above roles (these do not all have to apply to every single role)
• Proficiency with MS Office/365, Airtable, Adobe
• Strong organization and communication skills
• Enthusiastic team player
• Extensive Film/TV knowledge
• Knowledge, interest in strategy or content planning & scheduling process
• Savvy with streaming platforms and content industry
• Open to learning new technology
• Must be actively enrolled in a US accredited college or university degree p rogram for the full duration of the internship (proof of enrollment required)
• Must be a rising Junior or Senior (18 years or older)
• Must be in academic good standing ( 3.0
or above GPA)

The duration of the program is 1 1 weeks
Program date s:
• Start Date: January 29 th
• End Date: April 19 th
Interns will be expected to work 16-24 hours per week in a hybrid capacity.
Our internships are paid opportunities with a competitive hourly wage. Credit is not required; however, we will provide the necessary documentation for school credit if desired. R elocation is not provided.
Interviewing will take place from
October through mid- December. A WBD team member will contact you if your experiences and interests match an open internship position. Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to give individual status updates.
In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation, or a range thereof, for roles in locations where legally required. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The rate listed is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Rate: $19 per hour USD for undergrad interns, $25 per hour USD for graduate level interns.
