Job Description
DESCRIPTION:
Draft releases and other documents used in connection with various television productions
Attend and observe legal proceedings, if scheduled (e.g., depositions, hearings and conferences)
Assist in the pre-broadcast review of news stories
Assist in the review of network advertising and promotions
Research relevant legal issues and draft memoranda summarizing conclusions
Assist with various production legal work for unscripted programming
Become familiar with issues impacting broadcast, streaming and other television platforms, including FCC, licensing and other regulatory issues
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required: Must be enrolled in law school. First year student preferred. Must include transcript and writing sample with application.
