Job Description

Program Eligibility:
• Currently enrolled at an accredited two or four-year college/university in the United States, pursing an undergraduate, graduate and/or law degree
• Graduating between Spring 2024-Fall 2026
• Have access to housing and transportation within the designated city (We do not offer housing accommodations)
• Legally authorized to work in the US and will not require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H1-B, OPT, etc.)
• Commit to 20-40 hours per week (based on individual business area)

Application Security (Remote):

How You'll CREATE:

The Application Security Intern works under the supervision of the Application Security team to help assure sufficient security of UMG systems . Various Application Security assessment techniques will be explored to identify vulnerabilities requiring remediation to achieve compliance . This work will also help educate application development teams to protect UMG systems with secure coding technologies and logging and monitoring capabilities.
• Participate in application security assessments
• Promote secure coding methodologies
• Formal registration of security findings
• Promote remediation of security findings
• Participate in the security standards development

• Current baccalaureate student registered in a cybersecurity based academic program
• Network security or Internet security experience

D2C Engineering (Onsite - PA):

How You'll CREATE:

D2C Engineering builds storefront Shopify feature sets and integrations with various backend eComm systems to deliver engaging experiences for fans to purchase merch and music and to fulfill orders from those storefronts in a timely manner.
• Custom theming, using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to match Shopify 2.0 storefronts to existing Shopify 1.0 storefronts in support of our migration from 1.0 to 2.0
• Incorporate feedback on design changes from our Creative Team
• Document issues with the underlying template for our engineers
• Weekly reporting on status of migration of assigned stores

• Closely collaborate with Data Architects & Data Engineers on application design and architecture
• Build reliable data ingestion pipelines for various projects using GCP technologies
• Partner with key members of various departments to understand their data requirements & implement them.
• Perform data analysis and data profiling on large scale datasets; prepare KPIs and identify anomalies.
• Assist in building a comprehensive data catalog and implement data governance strategies
• Address questions and concerns from downstream data consumer
• Proactively remove roadblocks and escalate issues when encountered
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment

The Identity & Access Management Intern works under the supervision of the SSO Federation team to help secure authentication into UMG systems using Microsoft Azure Identity Management . Various authentication techniques will be explored to support internal and external use cases and system to system connections . This work will also provide custom branded login screens to support artists and partners with unique requirements.
