Job Description

Purpose of the role:

Turner is a division of WarnerMedia along with our sister companies, HBO and Warner Bros.
In Europe, Middle East and Africa, Turner currently broadcasts 70 channels in 20 languages to 125 countries. Turner's EMEA portfolio of kids, entertainment, sports and news brands includes Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Cartoonito, Boing, adult swim, Toonami, Warner TV, TCM and TNT, CNN, , Bleacher Report and e-league, as well as our new venture Toonix, in partnership with HBO Nordic.

Turner France proposes a 6-month internship alongside the Distribution team, operating kids and General entertainment channels in French-speaking Europe, Benelux, Israel and Africa. The intern will join the Paris-based Distribution team and handle specific initiatives and projects that will support the overall sales strategy.

Major Activities:
• Look for new clients and opportunities
• Monitor market competition in French-speaking Europe, Israel and Africa (new players, channels, TV offers, technological innovation)
• Follow-up on the TV channels and content piracy
• Market Analysis (content, channels, TV distribution platforms)
• Manage the client database
• Design and update sales presentations
• Write the monthly commercial newsletter
• Help prepare client meetings, B2B markets (MIP, Africacom, Discop etc) and business events
• Work with other departments (marketing, programming, research)

Skills required
• Fluency in French and English
• Proficiency in MS powerpoint, Excel (formulas) required. Indesign knowledge is desirable
• A passion for television in an international environment is a must! Keen interest in digital.
• Educated to Master's degree level or equivalent - Education in Media Management desirable - Business school diploma desirable
• The candidate must be a team player, self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and able to work in a demanding environment.
• Must also possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

Stagiaire en Distribution

Le portefeuille EMEA de Turner de marques pour enfants, divertissements, sports et actualistés comprend Cartoon Network, Boomerang, Cartoonito, Boing, Adult Swim, Toonami, Warner TV, TCM et TNT, CNN Bleacher Report et e-league, ainsi que notre nouvelle entreprise Toonix, en partenariat avec HBO Nordic.

Turner France propose un stage de 6 mois au sein de notre équipe de distribution, exploitant des chaines de divertissement pour enfants et généralistes en Europe francophone, au Benelux, en Israel et en Afrique. Le stagiaire rejoindra l'équipe de distribution basée à Paris et gerera des initiatives et des projets spécifiques qui soutiendront la stratégie commerciale globale.

Activités Principales
• Rechercher de nouveaux clients et opportunités
• Veille concurrentielle du marché en Europe francophone, Israël et Afrique (nouveaux acteurs, chaînes, offres TV, innovation technologique)
• Suivi des chaînes TV et piratage de contenus
• Analyse de marché (contenu, chaînes, plateformes de distribution TV)
• Gérer la base de données clients
• Concevoir et mettre à jour des présentations commerciales
• Rédiger la newsletter commerciale mensuelle
• Aider à préparer les rendez-vous clients, les marchés B2B (MIP, Africacom, Discop etc) et les événements commerciaux
• Travailler avec d'autres départements (marketing, programmation, recherche)

Compétences requises
• Maitrise courante du francais et de l'anglais
• Maitrise de Microsoft Powerpoint, Excel (formules) requise. La maistrise de Indesign est un plus.
• Une passion pour la télévision dans un environnement international est un must ! Intérêt marqué pour le numérique.
• Diplôme de niveau Master ou équivalent - Formation en gestion des médias souhaitable - Diplôme d'école de commerce souhaitable
• Le candidat doit être soucieux du détail, organisé, proactif et capable de travailler dans un environnement exigeant.
• Doit également posséder la capacité d'effectuer plusieurs tâches et de hiérarchiser les priorités dans un environnement en évolution rapide
