Ticketmaster's Common Capabilities Core Team works to offer simplified integration and collaboration for Marketplace, Enterprise and Partners to help sell clients' tickets globally and unlock future business opportunities, paving the way for Ticketmaster's long-term product strategy.
THE JOB
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Product Management Intern to join our Ticketmaster Core Team, which is part of Ticketmaster's Enterprise line of business. As Product Intern in our team, you will assist in building products from existing ideas, and help to develop new ideas based on industry best practices and your collaboration with our market representatives and clients. In this role, you will be able to develop general understanding of live events and ticketing and the competitive landscape.
You will join as a member
of the team developing the API strategy for Ticketmaster's core ticketing platforms. These are the heart of Ticketmaster's sales engine, where orders are processed, and ticketing inventory is managed. As a result, all of Ticketmaster's fan and client-facing UI surfaces integrate with these platforms, as do numerous external partners and competitors. This intern will perform internal and external product research, which will enable them to participate in the drafting of our API strategies and roadmaps.
You will be mentored by seasoned Product Managers and can expect to gain on the job experience in many aspects of Product Management. You will be expected to have an appetite to focus on our users, markets and technology to understand their problems and find innovative solutions to deliver on the needs of our clients.
The ideal candidate is both analytical and creative and is curious about large scale, data-driven applications using the latest technology.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Analyse market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research and analyzing data and reporting needs.
• Define product specifications using clear and consistent user stories with any acceptance criteria or supporting documentation supplied.
• Collaborate with creative and engineering teams during the development cycle to ensure the product meets customer requirements.
• Analyse and report
on the performance of features in production, reflecting on successes and identifying areas for continuous improvement.
• Assist Product Managers with profitability analysis and business cases.
• Conduct competitive benchmarking.

The expected compensation for this position in NYC is:
$20.00 USD - $25.00 Hourly
