Job Description
Editorial Content Intern

Job Summary:

The Editorial Content Intern will assist the editorial team in developing creative content for the Ticketmaster Blog and in executing SEO-related content goals and artist pages for Ticketmaster.com. The ideal candidate will have a passion for writing and editing creative content, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will:
• Learn about how the Ticketmaster Content Studio and North American Marketing Team create editorial content.
• Gain real-world experience by playing an active role in writing copy for projects across music, sports and other categories.
• Learn what it takes to succeed in a creative marketing role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Actively support the Head of Editorial Content, Senior Editor of Content, and Content Writer in their day-to-day duties.
• Write blog posts, artist biographies, email copy and other content within the brand tone of voice.
• Sub-edit copy across all channels to ensure it meets house style and the brand tone of voice.
• Use web content management systems to publish content.
• Keep a pulse on music, pop culture, and sports news.
• Participate in special projects and perform other related duties as requested.
• Attend and participate in editorial team meetings and brainstorming sessions with the editorial team.

Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in a journalism or media related field.
• Experience writing and/or editing content for a publication or comparable form of media.
• Extensive knowledge of music, pop culture, and sports.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• A creative thinker and self-starter with a winning attitude.
• Ability to work well remotely and within a team environment.
