What are we looking for?
The purpose of the Tastemade Internship is to support a diverse cohort of undergraduate college students in their pursuit to their chosen career paths in the media industry. The internship will provide space for meaningful relationships, access to knowledge directly from the media field, and professional development to students during a 12-week virtual program. We are looking for video production interns who want to learn how Tastemade is tackling new ways of developing and producing digital content and changing the world through the art of storytelling.

What You'll Be Doing:
• Meet weekly with a cohort of interns who are passionate about making waves in media
• Meet with the production team to learn the ins and outs of the Tastemade business.
• Make meaningful relationships with the Tastemade team and otherwise.
• Gain experiential knowledge, practice time, and shadowing opportunities
• Present a culminating project presented to the Tastemade team
• Learn the latest techniques in digital video production and how it applies to social media platforms and streaming networks. This includes practical studio work and virtual post production.
• Discovering how to develop a show and pitch to streamers and cable networks.
• Education on what it takes to be an on-screen Tastemade talent and how we bring new talent into the fold.
• Gain an understanding of the A-Z of Production budgeting and Asset Rights and Clearances.
What You'll Bring:
• Media or video production majors preferred
• A desire to learn about the inner workings of digital video production
• Passion for food, travel, and design
Details:
• This opportunity will be an unpaid internship
• This opportunity will start June 7th and end the week of August 27th.
• To participate, you must be available for 2 hours on Monday from 8:00 AM - 11:00 AM Pacific, as well as a total of 4 hours each on two of the following days; Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. Total hours will be 10 per week.
• This opportunity will be completely virtual and interns must be located in Los Angeles, California
• This opportunity will supply school credit through student's chosen school/university
