Intern - IT Cyber & Information Security

Job Description

We are looking for an Information Security Intern to join our team for Summer, 2020. Are you continuously curious? Motivated by a challenge? Excited by Information Technology and cybersecurity? We need your contribution & perspective to share in our vision to be a part of something BIG.

As our Information Security Intern, you will practice fundamental skills while building projects alongside Sinclair's Enterprise Information Security team. You will work towards improving Company-wide solutions and contribute ideas & support to improve our security program. Throughout the internship you will learn to measure and monitor the progress and status of your initiatives, gain real time experience with a variety of security tools, and enhance processes to drive security program value in our organization.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
• Facilitate and participate in security table-top exercises
• Learn fundamentals of vulnerability management and security operations
• Help lead security awareness training efforts for the enterprise
