The Drive Auto Co-op Department plays a vital role in assisting with and supporting the growth of Drive Auto's sales and revenues. The Co-op Department's function is to assist with new business sales where co-op advertising can be utilized, ensure dealer customer campaigns are co-op approved, timely deliver co-op claim documents to clients, and accurately file monthly co-op advertising claims. The Co-op Department assists our internal and external clients with co-op inquiries, consulting and guidance with sales, sales proposals, and dealer customer campaigns. An ideal candidate will have an understanding of digital media sales, sales support, and digital marketing solutions. Knowledge of the automotive industry, and sales experience in the industry is required. This role will interact heavily with our internal partner sales teams, dealer customers, sales operations, and auto manufacturer co-op administrators. This role reports to the Assistant Director of Sales Operations and Business Development.
Roles and Responsibilities
Not limited to the following:
• Pitch OEM automotive dealers on Drive Auto Co-Op products and own the co-op revenue.
• Support local and regional sales teams on pitches and upsells.
• Take ownership of internal co-op pushes, sales events, and initiatives, and will evangelize the initiatives to the local sales teams.
• Research, study and become a subject matter expert in automotive co-op advertising and marketing compliance requirements – staying updated with changes to auto manufacturer programs.
• Lead, participate, and contribute to projects related to the Co-op Department or co-op processes.
• Manage a team of co-op and sales operations specialists, being accountable for their work, and responsible for their growth within Drive auto.
Requirements:
• 6+ years of industry experience in media sales, digital media sales, sales support, digital marketing, account management, or related fields.
• 6+ years of experience working with automotive manufacturers in a co-op or marketing compliance standpoint.
• Experience managing individuals.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office Suite, especially MS Excel/Google Sheets and OneDrive.
• Highly organized and detail oriented with a great ability to remember nuanced details for numerous customers and campaigns.
• Self-starter with experience converting ambiguous directions into a clear path to success.

The base salary compensation range for this role is $80,000 to $93,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
