The 2020 Summer Intern- PR/Corporate Communications will be responsible for supporting the department in various needs such as:
• Compiling daily press clips
• Answering phones
• Pulling clips for talk shows
• Sending screeners to press
• Booking talent travel
• Maintaining media contacts lists
• Assisting with preparation for major publicity events
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
• Current undergraduate student (rising junior or senior)
• Strong interest in Cable/Entertainment Industry
• 2.5 GPA or above
• Submission of a cover letter - required
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Ability to work at least 35 hours/week for 8 weeks from 6/8-7/31
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment under deadlines
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work and prioritize work assignments
• Able to provide administrative support as needed
Preferred:
• Entertainment and PR experience a plus
• Previous internship experience in a related field a plus
