About the Role & Program

Searchlight Pictures is a full-service mini studio within The Walt Disney Studios. Searchlight has dedicated development, acquisitions, marketing, distribution, International, business affairs, physical production, post production, VFX, and television teams. The Business Operations Intern will learn about both Finance & Business Operations as well as make a meaningful contribution to the Searchlight Pictures team.

If selected for this role, you will report to the Director, Finance & Business Operations.

What You Will Do

We are looking for an organized and meticulous intern to aid us in our day-to-day operations.
• Support the Director's efforts for accurate budgeting/forecasting in internal marketing reporting
• Assist Director in streamlining/cross checking reporting for forecasts, actuals analysis and budgeting and help organize historical digital files
• Preparing PowerPoint presentations
• Assist in ordering and stocking supplies and managing facility work orders/physical moves and other logistical needs

Required Qualifications & Skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Experience with budget and forecasting analytical
• Experience with multitasking in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with data analytics and presenting findings
• Previous experience in Media and Entertainment industry

Preferred Qualifications
• System experience with SAP and BOX

Education
• Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR must have graduated from a college/university within 6 months at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
• Graduate Student studying in Finance, Accounting, Business, Entertainment or related field.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.
• Possess unrestricted work authorization

Additional Information
• The approximate dates of this internship are January 2025 through June 2025
• Must be able to work 40 hrs per week, Monday through Friday, 9am - 6pm PST onsite
• Able to provide own housing for the duration internship program in the Burbank, CA area
• Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

The pay rate for this role in California is $30.40 per hour.
