The Marketing department develops and implements creative marketing campaigns including advertising, social media, and bookstore displays. Marketers work closely with sales to learn what's happening in the market and, to help them promote and share their enthusiasm about books and writers.
Audio
As the premier publisher in the audiobook industry, Penguin Random House Audio is dedicated to producing top-quality fiction and nonfiction audiobooks written and read by the best in the business. Interns will researching new media contacts, influencer, and brand partnerships for title marketing campaigns, and collaborate with the team to create content for social media platforms.
Library Marketing
This position allows the opportunity to learn about the entire process of marketing, specifically to the library market, getting our books to the hands of librarians.
INTERNSHIP PROGRAM DETAILS
Penguin Random House offers an immersive 20-week PAID, REMOTE internship opportunity in the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025, available in our adult, children's, and corporate divisions. Interns will have the opportunity to learn how to create marketing book campaigns, projects to develop skills in marketing books and receive robust training from our marketing teams to support professional growth . Our interns are also exposed to the publishing process and our business through panels, networking events, and a mentoring program!
What you study does not matter! We are looking for your desire to work with books, your drive to learn and your curiosity for the publishing industry.

REQUIREMENTS & ELIGIBILITY
• Must be ready to work full-time on or before June 2025 (You do not need to be enrolled in college or have a degree to apply to our internship program).
• Able to work 21 hours/week throughout the program
• Available and commit to the program working September 15th, 2024 – November 22nd, 2024 AND January 13th, 2025 – March 21st , 2025
• Must reside in the US for the duration of the internship program
• Must be over the age of 18
Interns are paid $20/hour.

The salary range listed is specific to each particular open position and takes into account various factors including the specifics of the individual role, and candidate's relevant experience and qualifications.
