Responsibilities
Fall 2022 Internship Program:

• Time Commitment: 16-24 hours per week. Exact schedule to be determined based on business need. We will do our best to accommodate course schedules.

Virtual Opportunities:
• Communications & Publicity: This team is responsible for developing top tier, one-of-a-kind campaigns. Interns will gain exposure to the creation and execution of unique campaigns inclusive of radio, print, online, social media and broadcast opportunities that generate maximum, positive buzz and excitement among target audiences across platforms.
• Content Operations: On the Content Operations team, you'll support Peacock's mission critical video publishing supply chain and quality assurance efforts; continuously monitoring program availability schedules, communication channels, and content servicing handoffs between key workstreams. You'll be maintaining different documents for the Peacock Video Editorial team's project timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Editorial: The Peacock editorial group is responsible for curating the collections of content (TV shows and movies) seen across Peacock's main menu and various sub-pages. On the editorial strategy team, we use performance data to strategize proper placement of this content to drive usage.
• Growth Marketing: In this role, there will be opportunities to understand and contribute to the scale of work that goes into making a promo campaign work in a streaming environment. In addition to helping the team manage the 100+ assets in-market at any time, there will be growth opportunities to help strategize and develop campaigns across the various content Peacock offers.
• Programming & Development: This intern will be a part of the Strategic planning and content partnerships, specifically supporting the director of Latino programming. The team oversees Peacock's wide range of program planning for news, entertainment, Latino and sports content on Peacock. The team works across functions to provide programming rollout, strategic stunting, launch planning and much more. The team also serves as partnership leads with brands in and outside of NBC.
In-Person Opportunities: must be available to work from Universal City, CA to be considered for the below opportunity
• Distribution Marketing: The Digital Distribution & Partnership Marketing team manages the digital brand health of NBC Entertainment and the TVEverywhere App. In addition to partnering with NBC brand and third-party platforms, we work with content producers and product marketing to enhance our digital products and services.
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
• Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the length of the program.
• Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.
• If selected for a virtual internship, must be working from a location within the United States during all hours worked.
• If selected for an in-person internship, must be willing to work in the designated city and state as mentioned in the job responsibilities section.
Additional Job Requirements
• Must submit an attestation disclosing your COVID-19 vaccination status and, if partially or fully vaccinated, submitting your vaccination record no later than 7 days following commencement of employment.
• Must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 at the commencement of employment or must undergo regular COVID-19 testing if Company determines your job position requires accessing an NBCUniversal worksite.
• Must be willing to adhere to all Company COVID-19 workplace safety policies and protocols.
Desired Characteristics
• Students with class standing of junior or above preferred.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• For Content Operations: Basic knowledge of metadata related programming/markup languages, syntaxes and database management including, but not limited to: XML, JavaScript, JSON, SQL
• For Programming & Development: Bilingual with a deep understanding of Latino relevant programming, in Spanish and English
